Screen Options, Help not working

    Downloaded, installed WordPress 4.1. Looks like this has happened to others and I’ve tried everything I’ve found but nothing will fix the Screen Options and Help for me. When I click them nothing happens. New to the program and will appreciate any help very much.

    Mozilla Firefox Yahoo Edition Yahoo 1.7. I’ve been trying to create a new post but cannot enter anything into the main window. I can give it a title but that’s all. Feel like at this point not knowing enough to ask questions……

    I would try a different browser and if it works any better.

    Thanks but had already tried IE. After your first response I tried Safari & Slim Browser. Same problems. I’ve noted others using Chrome, wonder if I should install it?

    Removed all files and re-installed WordPress. It works! Everything so far. Thanks for the help.
