Screen Reader Response Showing.

Since I was one of the people who specifically asked for that div to be added, I tested the newly updated plugin extensively when it was released and didn’t see any problem like this on my sites. Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all other plugins deactivated?

It looks like the theme I’m using (Savory) has it’s own Contact Form 7 styles. Even with the overriding styles removed the plugin CSS isn’t called. Not sure what I can do to change this but I think that is more of a question for the theme developer. In the mean time I’m just going to copy the necessary CSS to the child theme. Thanks for your help.
