Screwed up .htaccess
-
I uploaded a plug-in to display a “printer friendly” version of a blog post, and it required pasting some code into my .htaccess file. Needless to say, I screwed it up somehow. I didn’t backup the original .htaccess beforehand because the process looked so simple–just cut and paste. How could I mess up? Right.
Now, only my main page will show up–no archives or comments. I removed the line of offending code and deleted the plug-in, but still have no access to my site beyond the front page.
Is there a way to make WordPress generate a new .htaccess file? Or do I need to ask my host to restore the file from a backup?
