I followed the steps in the Codex upgrade guide carefully but went off the rails at step 9 when trying to run the upgrade program. Either I couldn’t find it or it wasn’t there.

I paniced, tried to revert to my backup files and now all I get is the index at https://www.smallwinerymarketing.com

    Any ideas?

Oh, shit. I may have fixed it, at least to the extent of getting back to the old version.

    Yep, I’ve successfully reverted.

This time I’ll try upgrading using the upgrade plugin.

Thanks and, as Roseanna Roseanna Danna used to say, “never mind.”

Dude! You are so right! I’m hosed! What hit me? See my latest SOS headlined Upgraded, now can’t login to admin AND articles missing

A long time ago I used to say to my colleagues, I am not a command line guy, and it’s so true.

Hey, you wouldn’t be able to help, would you?
