Script Embedding

Were you able to create the event in question? I can see you’ve created this event:

It was never an issue of being able to create the event. The event is created, I want to embed the ticket purchase widget like I did on the home page into the event page. When I put that script in the text editor, is doesnt show on the event page. Does that make sense?

Thanks for clarifying.

The event page utilized a 3rd party wyswig editor for event descriptions where you can add rich text, HTML, images, or plain text. It doesn’t support embedding javascript.

You can use standard HTML to link to the ticket page.

I stand corrected. Yes, it does. My apologies. Javascript embeds still won’t work.

But why? It should. It works on a standard page. The text editor on an event shouldnt be any different. I need to fix this, otherwise I will be forced to find another option for a calendar on the website.

Because it’s a security limitation in WordPress. For standard WP pages, you have to use alternative means to enable javascript embeds:

But it works on my home page, so you can see that it works perfectly fine on my website, just not on a calendar/event page.

@designdebonair there isn’t a way to embed javascript in the event details description page — this is a technological limitation. You can submit a feature request for our Dev Team here:
