Script in Excerpt not showing

    Hi

    If you say it ‘doesn’t work anymore’, can you specify what updates/installations/other changes you made prior to this.

    Also please specify the shortcode used.

    I can’t say for sure since when this doesn’t work anymore. Maybe with activation of the gutenberg editor. Maybe earlier.

    For this widget I don’t use any shortcode. I’m using the Widget of List category posts with a custom template.

    It doesn’t work on my end as well, I checked the code and indeed it’s not possible to make it work in LCP widget.

    To solve this you have to use a shortcode in a text widget. Add a Text widget to your site, use the [catlist] shortcode with options of your choice and include excerpt=full. The embedded video will work.
