[Script:]Edit or Change Category ID’s

  • The Script

    You can use the following Script to change or edit your Category ID. Just edit the first 5 lines in the Script and run it. Then enter the old Category ID in the first, the new one in the second field. If you want to change 2 ID’s. Enter the first one and the Second one instead and check the Box below.

    Hi, i am completely new to all that and i am not sure if this will be helpful. Once i had uploaded all of my posts and pages etc.. the ID of my categories had changed and several posts don’t show up anymore or on the wrong page. Is this script helpfull to assign a different ID to the existing categories? and if yes, how do i “run” it?
