  • @uwe-stegmann As you’re using reader mode (formerly known as Classic) different templates are used for your AMP URLs to ensure compatibility, with this mode most suited to themes that are not AMP compatible.

    Depending on how you’ve placed the code snippets or amp-auto-ads scripts into your site they may not appear in reader mode AMP (ie. If you’ve placed directly into your theme files they won’t appear, as reader mode uses its own amp valid templates)

    As your theme features it’s own customized AMP reader mode templates you’ll find the AMP files to edit within an AMP directory within in your current theme. You can edit those templates, or uses the reader mode hooks as described on the plugins classic template rendering page.

    To implement Auto ads for AMP you may find using Site Kit easier, it places the Auto ads code in your AMP and non AMP alike. If you prefer just to insert Auto ads code into your reader mode AMP you can try this plugin.
