Scroll Feature Not Working After Updates

Hey, I am new here and have been forced to try to understand my wordpress site after a the asshole designer decided to quit working on websites [moderated].

I am here hoping to find out why a scroll feature that the designer set up is now not working after I have taken a few updates. I have been warned by many people about taking wordpress updates as they can make things break.

The scroll feature is still in place on my custom theme but not working. The way it used to work is the main wall or middle part of the site would scroll horizontally while the left and right art work would stay static. That is not working anymore and when the user scrolls down the site there is empty black space.

Is there anyone here who can help?
