• Hi malihu,

quick question. I have ‘scroll from/to different pages‘ enabled.

When I click on a link with an anchor on a page and the new page is loaded, by default the browser loads it at the anchor position, and I guess when the JS loads in, the plugins functionality kicks in jumps the page to the top, and then smooth scrolls to the anchor.

Is there a way when navigating from an anchored link to have it load the page at the top, so I don’t have this jumping around?

(‘The remove the URL hash‘ option is also a no go, since it only removes the hash after the page and plugin has loaded)

    Cheers,
    Mate

    Hello,

In most cases the issue you’re describing does not happen but there are cases when it happens and there’s not much we can do about it, as it depends on a number of reasons including page layout, specific CSS rules, browser engine and cache etc.

I’ve made the plugin script in such a way to deal with such issues but there are cases where it’s not really possible to avoid this.

Does this happen on specific browser(s)? Does it happen the very first time you visit the page (i.e. when the pages are not cached by the browser)?

Can you post your site/page URL so I can check it?
