Scroll to top animation speed

Hey,
The speed is set by behavior: ‘smooth’ it’s not a specific amount of time, the browser can interpret some.

Hi Ben,

I don’t understand, the smooth scrolling works fine on your site, but not the site I’m working on, on Chrome. I used to use oceanwp before, and the smooth scrolling works fine on sites created with it.

On your link above, assuming you change the , for a . I see smooth scrolling working. Is that where you are seeing it not work? Is it only when you are logged in? Have you tested clearing your browser cache?

lol sorry about that.

The scroll to top IS working, it’s just really fast, ideally I would like it to scroll up slower (1-2s) for a smoother experience.

The instantenous scroll up happens irrespective of whether I have logged in, or tried in difference browsers (inc mobile).

Perhaps you are seeing something different? This is in chrome. Have you tried disabling browser extensions?

Okay, that’s really weird, cause I tried it in different browsers but it’s not showing like that. I’ll check again from a friends computer.
