    Hi

I have a wide list of table and enabled the scrollbar but it appears on the bottom to scroll x axix (to the right). by the time a user reaches to the bottom to scroll, he will not be able to see the header anymore.

so can you help share your knowledge to make the scrollbar appear on the top of the table rather than bottom?

    and

can you help share your knolwedge to make the table header to be freezed? so it can show up on top even if a user scrolls down to the bottom?

    Please kindly advise.

    Thank you

    https://www.outsystems.com/forums/discussion/72231/how-to-make-the-horizontal-scroll-at-top-of-the-table/

Please dont hesitate if there is better way (maybe embeded function) to achieve this.

    Thank you

    Hello,
Thank you for sharing that workaround with us.
We passed it to our developers, they will review it and we will make a note of it.
If the developers come up with a better/more ‘elegant’ workaround to achieve this, we will make sure to report back on this Post and share it with you.

If you wish to see a built-in option in the Plugin interface to choose the position of the ‘scrollable’/horizontal scroll, you can leave a development suggestion, we just can’t say an ETA on it.

Please feel free to search on our suggestions page (https://features.wpdatatables.com/), to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can’t see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list. You can certainly follow our changeLog if you’d like(https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wpdatatables/#developers), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates; and our newsletter(https://wpdatatables.com/newsletter/), so you’re informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

    Hello again @futureyoon,
Just a small follow-up on this topic.
We checked with our developers and they confirm that, at the moment, the solution you found is the best possible one, with our Plugin’s current capabilities and built-in options, etc.

Thank you very much again for sharing it with us.
    As mentioned above, you can follow our ChangeLog where we will advise when a built-in/better solution might be added;
and you can subscribe to the Newsletter to stay informed as well.

    Kind regards.

just curious if this was inlcuded into the new release?

    Hello,
At the moment, this is still not included, our developers have more work to do in order to add a built-in option to position the horizontal scroll at the top above the table.
Right now, it can still only be achieved with a custom solution.

We still can’t say an ETA on when it will be added, but we will make sure to add a patch note about it on our ChangeLog report (which can also be seen in the Plugin’s back-end Dashboard) during one of the future updates when it gets finished.

    Kind regards.

    Hello again,
We apologize, just wanted to add the comment about your second point, you asked if it is possible to achieve the Fixed Header row, so that when a user scrolls down to the bottom on the horizontal scroll, to still be able to see the Headers.
We do have this feature, it is just not available in the free/Lite version of the Plugin.
You can check more details about our built-in Fixed Headers Feature here.
For the Lite Plugin, we don’t have any built-in option for it, so you can only try a custom solution.

If you have any additional questions about the Fixed Headers for the premium version, please open a ticket on our?main Support platform here, and one of our Agents will respond as quickly as possible.

If you don’t have a licence (or if it expired), please open a pre-purchase ticket which doesn’t require a purchase code.

Premium products are not supported in these forums, as per this comment by www.ads-software.com moderators.

    Thank you for understanding.

    Kind regards.
