After clearing the cache it seems to work, however it’s no smooth scrolling. Turning the mousewheel throws the activity log all the way up or all the way down, nothing in between. Grabbing the grey sidebar and moving it does work.

Mouseover on the icons in the activity log doesn’t work either.

What version of Chrome are you using? Also, are you using WordPress 3.8?

    Thread Starter Gerard ter Beke

    (@gerard-ter-beke)

Chrome 31.0.1650.63 m (everything seems to work fine)
FF 25.0.1 (problems with scrolling & mouseover)

    Yes, I’m on WP 3.8

Downloading the new FF as we speak.

    FF 26.0…same problems

It looks like a conflict with another plugin. I could not replicate the issue on our vanilla 3.8 test site. Can you try to deactivate all you other plugins, clear your cache, and try again?

The former version of SlimStat worked fine. I’ll see what I can come up with.

    Thank you.

Apparently the speed at which you roll your scrollwheel in Firefox can be an issue. Try to roll it slowly and see if it works.

Disabling other plugins and clearing the cache does not change the behavior.

Giving the scrollwheel one single click moves the Activity Log to the end.

Mouseover on the icons does change the arrow to a hand, but the text does not show.

We can add an option to disable SlimScroll and use the native OS scrollbars instead. As for the icons… what icons are you referring to?

    These icons?

Something is going on, do you have adblock or something like that installed? You should see a tooltip when you hover on those icons.

    Thread Starter Gerard ter Beke

    (@gerard-ter-beke)

I know…the tooltip does show up in Chrome, where Adblock and several other plugins are running. In FF, after the update, it doesn’t work anymore. I don’t have a single plugin running in FF. No Adblock, nothing.

Just tried it in IE8 (I know, i know, please don’t shoot me) and everything works like a charm. Scrolling, tooltips, no problem.

It must be something with your Firefox, since it works for me in FF 25 & 26. Not sure what could be causing this issue, though. Ditch Firefox and use Chrome ?? (just kidding)

Ok, I’ll uninstall FF…..but not really.

One more weird thing. The [WHOIS] tooltip does show up. The others don’t.

Maybe, someday, I’ll find the issue. But not today.

It is really weird, indeed. Especially because I am using the same exact version of FF here, and I cannot reproduce the issue.
