Scrolling Freezes in IE when this Plugin is active

A client of mine was experiencing a scroll freeze in IE on their website and upon review it was when the Floating Button appeared. The scrolling ability would stop. Disabling the button resolved this issue. I do not know the reason why. I have disabled use of this plugin on two other clients websites until it can be fixed. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any solutions?
