Scrolling Major features/stories banner for homepage

    I want to make my blog look more inviting, am looking for a plugin:

    Major features/top stories banner on my wordpress homepage
    (which auto scrolls, users also have button to manual scro1l)

    eg. see on a number of major websites like

    rotten tomatoes
    ign.com

    Can you please suggest some great plugins to use/try. i use 2.3 WP
