• Hi,

When will the search addon be available? If it’s a long way away do you have any other recommendations for filtering the jobs?

    Thanks

I have been bogged down with other client work I am afraid. Are you look for the search add-on for version 3.0?

    Hi Mark,

Yes that’s correct. I could use another taxonomy filtering plugin but it would be good to use the WP Broadbean search addon.

    Thanks

I am going to be working on this over the next week and therefore hope to have this launched either late next week or the early the week after.

    Hi Mark,

    That’s great news.

Before I purchase, does it work with hierarchical industry taxonomies? Ideally, I’d like to have two industry drop-downs, one with the parent industries and the other with the child industries. I guess these would need to sync when selecting the parent industry.

If this is too complex, I’d settle with them all in the same drop-down, with indented child taxonomies or something. Is this possible?

Lastly, does it work with AJAX?

    Thanks

Umm… good question. I think that it will just display all the terms in a taxonomy without honouring their level (parent, child, grandchild).

To be honest I completely over looked the taxonomy hierarchy and therefore I will go back and try and make this work. I think it will be best to have them all in the same list, indented for children etc.

Excellent, I look forward to seeing this. Cheers Mark!

Managed to work on this today and have released version 2.0.1 which includes allowing for hierarchical taxonomies as you described above, indenting child / grandchild terms.

You can purchase from here https://store.highrise.digital/downloads/wp-broadbean-search/
