On a client site the search above the content editor has stopped to work.
If I click the search button nothing happens.

The console in the browser developer tools shows a javascript error:

aalb_admin.js:34 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'DE' of null
        at aalb_admin.js:34
        at aalb_admin.js:848

    What’s wrong?

    Thanks.

  • Perhaps the text editor messed up the quotation marks in the shortcode.

    Happens a lot.

And which quotation marks should it be?

But … what does that have to do with the search field? If I use the search field I normally don’t have a shortcode yet, or am I wrong?

Oh, I thought you were talking about the page as shown to the site visitors.

Well, have you checked the plugin settings for errors or formatted text?

It’s the ‘DE’ in the error message that looks suspicious. That’s the selected market place.

You are right. The marketplace is missing in the settings.
Seems it got lost as my client changed his amazon credentials in the settings.

    Anyway.

    Problem resolved.

    Thanks.

    Cool! (Y)
