Search access has disappeared

    I have a members directory set up on the mentioned URL that allows anyone to search 2 user roles.
    Within the members area I have another members directory that allows anyone to search any roles.
    Both these were working well until 3-4 days ago when all access disappeared except for Admin. When I’m logged in as the admin, I can see all the directories, but if I log in as a contributer/user then there is no access to the search.
    Just the 3 search boxes and no results found for searches.
    What has changed?
    Where do I go to fix this, I’ve searched lots of areas but nothing fits.

    Ignore my question.
    I’ve been into user roles and the tick for ‘view other profiles’ had disappeared.
    I’m now fixing.

    Back again
    I’ve got the search in the members area fixed, but the one in the public area isn’t. How do I allow anyone to search this directory?
    I’ve got the Global site access set to ‘everyone’
