search Ajax speed is slow in speed

What does “slowness” mean here? Please give me numbers. How many seconds? Are all searches equally bad, or are some worse than others?

Do you use custom excerpts? If you do, does disabling them speed up the search?

You can use the Query Monitor plugin to check the search. It’ll tell you, for example, how many database queries are made and how many seconds does it take to run the search. These are useful to figure out why it’s slow.
