Search all galleries

This is currently not possible. With that said, we do have a search feature that when enabled, will add a search option for a gallery and enable the visitor to be able to search through the images in that particular gallery.

I’m familiar with the individual gallery search, I have it implemented.

But on my site it’s important to be able to search all of the galleries at once. They might be wanting to search for a specific aircraft, or a specific term that may fall into multiple categories.

I’ll have to look for a plugin that will allow a tag search or something.

I’ve tried several search plugins, but none can see “inside” foo gallery. So it’s a straight media search, and the results displays are dismal.

Hopefully you can add an All Galleries Search at some point.
