Search and filter categories

I need some guide of how can I add filters of categories related to specific pages like posts, Portfolio , Testimonials etc. I am using this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/search-filter/
but It searches from blog post not relevant to specific pageThe page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I have already use this and facing problem that it if I add portfolio categories filter. It displays the drop down list but when I apply the filter It displays result for overall
categories like It displays me the Blog categories
