Search bar and menu not responding, hueman theme

    I installed the Hueman Theme V. 3.1.6 a day ago and I like it so far except for two things. One, the search bar is not responding on both the desktop and the responsive view. Second, the top and header navigation menus are not operating in responsive view. My blog can be found here. I have even deactivated all the plugins and tested the site but they are still not functioning. I will appreciate your assistance.

  • Hi politicske. Welcome to the Hueman forum. The search function, and menu and sidebar functions in mobile view, are all driven by jQuery. Your site is generating the following errors:

    2016-06-11 08:03:51.459 jquery.js:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid regular expression: missing /

    If you’ve already disabled all your plugins and that didn’t fix it, you might try turning off your Better WordPress Minify plugin and then refresh your WP Super Cache to see if that fixes it. It could be that the Minify and Super Cache plugins are both minifying the same code which might cause an issue.

    Thanks sir. I deleted the Better WordPress Minify plugin. Then cleared the cache in the site, including that of all my browsers. It is now working. Will check later to see if the issue comes up again.
