Yes, you can by editing the header.php

Create new file name header.php in your child theme’s folder then put the code that you will get here: https://gist.github.com/calvincanas/8f01dbe5e6eea213c479

You can see I insert the native wp search form on line 34.

I suggest you use a child theme https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Child_Themes or use css custom plugin like this: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-custom-css/ if you will customize your theme.

Add the code in your child theme’s style.css or using the plugin mentioned above.

	width: 500px;
}

Change the 500px to the one you like.
