Search Box causing site to load very slowly

    Hi there,

    I finally got the search box to display correctly with the help of Elena. However now my site is loading very slowly or crashing out since the correct implementation of it. Strange as when the search box was not configured correctly the site loaded as quick as, but now as mentioned loading slowly or crashing out. When it crashes I get the message from the Chrome browser and Firefox that a script on the page is causing the crash.

    Hi,

    It is related to the price field configuration.
    You set min price to 0 and max price to $1,000,000,000!!! and increase number to $10,000. Therefor price filed will have 1000000000/10000 = 100,000 options which is very high! We suggest you to decrease max price to a real price like $5,000,000 or even $10,000,000 or increase price step to a larger number like $1,000,000

    Ah thanks for that. I had worked out it was the price part after disabling it and now I know how to fill it out correctly.

    Sorry, but how to select default other word from select list? (in location search widget)
