Search box in header not working

Okay, at the risk of asking a dumb question, I can see the html markup just fine and delete it in chrome. If I test it works just fine. Problem is finding the html markup in my theme. Any clues or do I need to edit the css file?

You should be able to find that HTML in one of your theme files.

Yeah, I have looked but to no avail. I did see the demo site and it uses the offending line of code <input type=”hidden” name=”post_type” value=”product”>

Okay. I was able to solve the issue and now the search box is working as expected. What I did was delete the Search.php file and just used the default general template referenced in the codex file https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Function_Reference/get_search_form#Source_File

Hope this helps someone who encounters this strange issue.
