    Is it possible to change the label next to the search box so that instead of saying just “Search” it says “Search Table” – after all this is what it does? This would then differentiate between a standard site wide search and just the table. If not possible for me to make a local change, is this something that could be added as an enhancement?

    Hi!

    Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

    This is indeed possible! Please add this to the “Custom Commands” text field on the table’s “Edit” screen:

    "language": { "search": "Search table:" }

    If you would like to change this for all tables at once, you could also use the approach from https://tablepress.org/extensions/change-datatables-strings/ and change that text there.
