Search box not working

    Hi,

    I tested my site’s search box for the first time today and this error appeared “There has been a critical error on this website.”

    I am not sure what the problem is as everything else seems to work fine.

    Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

  • Hi, starsss, since this is related to the AmandaLite theme, I would recommend creating a new support topic in the AmandaLite support threads as their support community would be best able to assist you with this issue:

    I installed the theme on a sandbox site, and this was the following error that I got, so this isn’t only affecting you:

    File: /wp-content/themes/amandalite/search.php
Line: 4

    , which is this line:

    $amandalite_blog = amandalite_blog_configs();

    I tried searching for the definition of that function, and I couldn’t find the definition, so I think the issue is that the function does not exist at least in version 1.0.2 of the theme.

    One more question if you don’t mind.
    If they are not able to assist me, is there anything I can do on my own? Or would I need to look at a different theme instead?
