Search box semi-hidden when title turned off in Twenty-eleven header

    Twenty-eleven theme
    I created a custom image to display in the header
    The image is the recommended size and displays fine
    However,
    My header image includes the site title & tag line as part of the image
    Accordingly,
    I turned off the option to display title & tag line in the header
    The result has been
    The white space above the original header image and which included the search box has now disappeared and the image aligns with the top of the screen
    That is what I want
    But
    When this happens, the search box moves to the bottom of my header image and as a result is difficult to see

    Can anyone tell me how I can adjust this or move the search box to the menu or whatever?

    I’d much appreciate any help.
