Search button required on Header for PC & Mobile & Ipad

Still need option for Search bar on Top Header near logo ..
I need one with a button to click on after typing ..

Not easy to find .. but then I found one when googling … once you have a search button in place (I just tested a widget) and the search results are only 1 column and awful formatting. Isn’t there a straight forward way in having the Search results displayed in the same format as the Shop columns (mine has 3 columnms) with Left sidebar.

Still can’t get this widget on the Header area in particular position and NO “search” button …

When the search results come up it has huge images after each other and thousands of pages just awful.

Any coding to help or advice would be great.

If I understand correctly, you would like to know the following:

1. How to add a search button to the header for PC, tablet (iPad), and mobile.
2. How to display the current basket image on the header. Currently, nothing is displaying on the MOBILE top header

1. The search bar should display in the Storefront header by default for desktops and tablets and in the footer for mobiles. Please let us know if you are seeing something different.

2. The basket should be displaying the basked in the footer section for mobile. There should also be a hamburger menu displaying on the right hand side of the header. Is that not displaying on your client’s site?

This issue involves a fairly complex development topic, so I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in to help you out.

I also recommend having a look at Storefront Powerpack , which should let me make some changes to the header without adding any code to your site.

I had to install another Search plugin to work around the issue with the list of products for the Search results.

I have always had this issue with Storefront.

So I have found a great Search plugin that I am now using ..

I still CANNOT get it displaying on the Top Header section in Storefront.
Still need some advice on this please from someone.

I find Storefront seems to have limitations in what we can do on the Top Header section which is a bit frustrating compared to some other themes.
