WPSOLR indexes and searches the author display name.

From what version this is work?

You are right.

WPSOLR sends author to Solr, but WPSOLR schema.xml does not add the field ‘author’ to default search field ‘text’.

Add

<copyField source=”author” dest=”text”/>

just after

<copyField source=”permalink” dest=”text”/>

Reindex all your documents.

I have done like write. But don’t work.
I am trying to find “Heimatschutz für Nüsslisalat” author.
But i don’t see it in the results
