Search by field order

  • Hello! I want my results to always be in order of a numeric field that I’ll call “points”. I want users with more “points” to rank higher in search results.

    Therefore, if I search for “City”, the order of users from the same city will be listed in order according to the number of points of each user.

    Can you help me with this?

    Hello Patrique,

    You can use the shortcode

    [bps_directory order_by="field_345"]

    where 345 is replaced by your actual field ID.

    In order to sort your search results, you’ll need to select the new sort option from the Order By drop-down in your members directory.
