    Dear Team!

You created a very nice search tool – thanks you very much!

We are having a problem with searching by sku. When you type in the full SKU, e.g. “9330” the product with that special SKU doesn’t appear on the first match. It appears only under “More products” on the last place.

What do we have to change?

    Theme: Shopkeeper

    Thank you very much!

    Best regards
    Malte

    Hello,

it seems something overrides the ordering.
The best approach would be to deactivate plugins one by one and check if the issue still occurs after each deactivation. Also, try to switch your theme to e.g. Storefront, and check if the issue may be related to the theme.

This will help me determine what may override the search order.

Hi. Thank you for your plugin.
But I have one little problem.
    My SKUs are just numbers – 67, 73, 101, 199.
When I search by SKU products with number over 100 are shown
but if I want to find SKU 73 it shows nothing (but No results label doesn’t appear too)
If I enter the number 73 and press submit button there are 5 products in search results

    I use Drile Theme

I tried 9330 on your website and I see only a single product. It seems you fixed the issue by finding a plugin or code that overrides the search results or order.

    @wixvw
Go to WooCommerce -> FiboSearch -> Search bar (tab) and set Minimum characters option to 2.

    Thank you!

Thanks for writing. No, I didn’t find a plugin/code that overwrites the search result oder.
I excluded search in text and short text in you plugin. I found out text and short text > sku in your plugin. So the plugin took by searching for “9330” the 9 from the text, then a 3 and somewhere else the 0 and this was the first search result then.

    Thanks!

    Malte
