Search By Store Name

  • I was wondering, if there was a simple way to create another search field, so the user can find a store by name and/or by location.

    The only way to make that work at the moment is by writing custom code. If your comfortable with code, then I can point you in the right direction.

    The 2.3 update will come with an option to enable the search by name option.

    Hello, I use the WP Store Locator with 2 widgets and I am very satisfied. I also need the search for a Store Name. Will it take even longer to update to version 2.3? Unfortunately I do not want to change the code manually.

    @timerewinder I don’t have a release date yet, and most of the work is done for the 2.3 update, but I have some health issues that keep coming back that prevent me from doing a lot of work at the moment. So not sure when it’s ready to be released.

    Thank you for your response.

    I am comfortable with basic coding. Could you possibly guide me in the right direction? By the sounds of it the update may be a benificial update to your plugin, for alot of people.
