Search Category – Only showing Current Events

Did you already tried option under Events > Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives > Event list scope ?

sorry for the confusion but it looks like the ‘All Events’ dropdown in your search form is the events categories?

Hi –

Yes I understand that – however, it’s only pulling back future events, not past ones.

This means it’s often showing lots of categories of previous events, that if someone selects one, it doesn’t pull anything back, which is very confusing for the consumer if the categories are visible.

I’ve had to update the selection of categories to just parent ones to avoid the messy confusion, but ideally need it to bring back previous events too.

Can you perhaps give us a screenshot of you Events > Settings > Pages > Events List/Archieve? I think it’s just a setting issue.

We’ve recently updated the domains of the site – however everything is the same, we just went live.

https://whpc.wpengine.com/events only shows future events, not all the events.
Ideally, we need the search to bring back everything, as people like to look for old events too.
