Search Console error with sitemap generated by Yoast

@fjura Can you please let us know which URL you are submitting to Google for the sitemap? Please make sure to only submit the URL for the sitemap index (/sitemap_index.xml).

Also, we checked on your domain and it looks like you are using Cloudflare. If Cloudflare is caching the sitemap it can cause Google to return that error. Can you please try removing the sitemap from Google Search Console and then resubmitting it? You can do that following the steps indicated in this guide: https://yoast.com/help/submit-sitemap-search-engines/

thank you for the reply. I am trying to sumit this url:
https://www.lenivakucharka.sk/sitemap_index.xml

I purged all cache from Cloudflare, disabled it, then removed the sitemap and readded it to GSC, but still the same error shows.

@fjura Are you using any security plugins such as All In One WP Security?

Some security plugin’s settings for blocking bots have been known to interfere with Googlebot’s ability to fetch the data from the sitemap. See here for more information: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/29218998/your-sitemap-does-not-contain-any-urls-please-validate-and-resubmit-your-sitema
