Search console errors flagged Wordfence

    Google Search Console is throwing up 3 mobile usability errors:

    Affected pages
    Viewport not set /imagify-backup/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/
    Text too small to read /imagify-backup/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/
    Clickable elements too close together /imagify-backup/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/

  • Hey @lucy_jo,

    These are links to backups which aren’t meant to be directly accessed, or indexed. So it’s safe to ignore these. But you might speak with your host to make sure Directory Browsing is disabled on your site to help prevent this.

    You might also edit and refetch your robots.txt with the code below to prevent this from being indexed.

    User-agent: *
Disallow: /imagify-backup/

    Hey @lucy_jo,

    My apologies for the multiple replies. A colleague of mine also suggested uploading a blank index.php file to the imagify-backup directory. This should also remedy the errors.
