Search does not work properly

If I enter a word in the Search box, MetaSlider displays a number of sliders on page 1, and top right states, for example, 58 items with pages listed as 1 of 6. If I then click the single box to go to page 2 of the search results, the search term is ignored (cleared from the Search box) and page 2 of all sliders is displayed. There is no way to get to pages 2 to 6 of the search term sliders.
