• I just discovered that my default search function doesn’t find everything. I’m almost sure it did before. I’m using the search myself plenty of times to search for filenames (image names) to see in which post they are. Recently I found out that some of them are not searchable. I really can’t find out what is causing this.

I also could search classes first, for example posts which had something like class=iframe in them. That doesn’t work anymore either. It seems like the backend search (search in posts) does find more, but it doesn’t work like it did before.

Found out something new? It seems that newly added images to blogpost aren’t searchable. For example: I replaced one of the images in a blogpost from 2011. The old one is still searchable and the new one is not to be found, while it IS in the blogpost with the exact title I’m looking for. Even in newer blogposts most of the images are not found while searching for exact titles using the default WP search function.
