• I’m trying to make a landing page for my search. As it is now, the landing page is a page with a menu to the right, a list of results to the left, but no links in the results. So the person making a search, cant really use it for anything.

Eg. if I search for VL-700 (one of our products), I get a non useful list of products. Not only the VL-700:

VL-700 Touch PC Premium 10” -22 ”Fanless, No visible control panel No access to […]

… PCAP touch screens Here you will find all our PCAP touch screens […]

VL-15T Android operating system Incl. scheduling software My Signage Portal CMS (option) Android […]

VL-10T Android operating system Incl. scheduling software My Signage Portal CMS (option) Android […]

Only the first line in the results is relevant,
Non of the results has a link to the pages,
The menu to the right is not wanted.

Anyone know, how I might create a search page?
I’m not a programmer, so I cant do programming etc.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @gittefalkenberg,

As checked, seems likely it is related to the blog archives settings. Can you provide your settings for that to replicate under Appearance > Customize > Blog > Blog Archives > Blog Layout?

    > The menu to the right is not wanted.

You’re currently using block-based widgets editor. Can you provide a screenshot to the respective widgets preview in the editor (under Appearance > Widgets menu)?

To link an image for screenshot, use an external file sharing services like Google Drive to upload your image, get its public link, and share it in your reply.

    Hi again.

I went to Appearance > Customize > Blog > Blog Archives > Blog Layout and deleted what was there. Now there are no menues to the right, but there is an empty space instead.

The Enable Sidebar is not activated, so there should be no reason to why this space is there.

As seen, there are no clickable links in the results page and I cant get rid of the sidebar, although it is empty and disabled.

The link is the biggest issue though. And the fact, that lots of non releant stuff shows up in the results. Very strange ??
