    Does this plugin prevent search engines from crawling, indexing and displaying pages/posts in the search results? I need to create an “accept terms” pop up for a couple blog posts but they’ll be my biggest traffic generators so I want to make sure it won’t interfere with that at all.

    @scandidesignco I wouldn’t think so. WP Terms Popup doesn’t actually change or modify the source code of the pages it’s used on. It’s similar to how newsletter opt-in popups work in that it simply covers the display of content.

    Ok, thanks! That’s what I figured but just wanted to make sure ??

    have installed this for two weeks now and noticed that my pages are no longer found under my normal Meta description, but are found based on the text that appears on the popup, even though I have completely blocked this for search engines!
    In Google search, this page where the live test is part of the page takes precedence over the text.
    No, I don’t have a meta description in the popup, and search engines are not allowed, but still, search engines prioritize the popup
