    Hello,

    Thank you for this plugin.
Currently I have a concern that I find more important than nothing. After add the twitter feeds into a post I tried to use the search tool of my website to find the twitter feeds. It worked very well when using the Twitter Username Account. But then I tried to search for the twitter twits (text) written by the Twitter User, and my search tool couldn’t find nothing.

Worst than that, I also made the same test, this time using google.com, and the results were exactly the same. Google could find the Twitter Username Account into my website (obviously I needed to add the name of my site into google when searching to help it), but If I pick any portion of twitter twit (text) and put into google.com with my website name, nothing appear. It looks like the twitter content (text) isn’t really visible (or present) for any search tool. How can be possible?

It doesn’t work like the Official Twitter, where you can find on google.com specific phrases or sentences said for someone else on Twitter. If the twitter feeds don’t work on this way, they are not very helpful for SEO or for increase traffic in this way, i think.

I’ll appreciate your help with this issue!
    Thanks for your time.

It looks like you posted this two places. I’ll copy my response from the other thread:

It seems our demo shows up in a Google search. When I search for “#HomePro Challenge” we end up as the third result: https://snipboard.io/IvTliP.jpg

Are you choosing a somewhat unique phrase or keyword? I would imagine that would make a difference.

I realized as I was closing the page that the result was for our Facebook Demo. If I add “smash balloon” to the search our Twitter demo shows up:

    Hello,

    Thanks for your quick reply,
I apologize, because I’m not good expressing myself in english. Maybe the picture below can help to understand:

If you try to search only the text (not username or hashtags), it’s not visible for search engines. For example (text from picture):

“We decided to close temporarily our factory because we need to ensure the safety and well-being of our..” + MyWebsiteName.

But If I search any other normal text into my website pages or posts, I can easily find them on google. But it’s not the same scenario for twitter texts. I’m only speaking about texts, not usernames or hashtags.

What could be happening or the solution?

    Thanks

I had success looking for more unique phrases that were part of the tweet text only: https://snipboard.io/Wsh6IA.jpg

I wonder if Google is indexing links faster or prioritizing them in some way. I must admit I’m not an expert on Google indexing but I do know that our feeds are crawlable.

I’ll see if any other developers have any helpful explanations.

    Thanks for the answer,
I’ll be waiting for the explanation, to know how and when I’ll start to add the twitter feeds to my website and which is the best way to do it.
I’m also interested in your others plugins feeds, do they have the same problem? For example, would google be able to find the text description from one youtube video inserted on my site?

    Hey again,

The content is in the source code of your page. So it’s definitely something Google can find. It’s up to Google and other search engines to decide how the content is indexed and how it ranks in search results.

So it’s not something our plugins control. As you can see from my examples, the demos on our website are indexed and found through Google searches.

    Hopefully that makes sense!
