Search error in Data Explorer

  • Hi,

    I’m having this strange behaviour. I go to Data Explorer and use the search input to find a specific table. Let’s say I’m searching for “settings”.

    I find the table *settings* and click Explore in the quick actions.

    WPDA opens the test_settings table and I can see its contents. When I try to use the search input to search for a specific field, let’s say “custom”, WPDA doesn’t search inside this table, instead it’s searching the table list again, showing me the *custom* tables.

    It’s a very ackward behaviour and I’m not getting it in other installs.

    That’s certainly strange! We checked on our end but couldn’t replicate the issue you described.

    Is the plugin updated? Do you see any errors (in the browser console)?

    Not sure if another plugin can cause this but can you try deactivating other plugins and test if the issue persists?

    Sorry for the delay, I was unable to test the issue for a while. It seems not be happening when using Firefox. So I guess it’s some Chrome extension that’s causing the issue. I don’t see any console errors related to this.
