• The plugin has been activated and the parameters set to search pages and approved comments. But it seems to search for ever. I’ve tried leaving it for several minutes but it doesn’t seem to come to a conclusion.

  • There are some definite performance issues with a lot of comments and tags.

    Enabling ‘search tags’ seems to kill it, resulting after eight or nine minutes searching in the following error message:

    WordPress database error: [Server shutdown in progress]
    SELECT DISTINCT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS wp_posts.* FROM wp_posts , wp_terms AS ter, wp_term_relationships AS rel, wp_term_taxonomy AS tax WHERE 1=1 AND (((post_title LIKE ‘%bennett%’) OR (post_content LIKE ‘%bennett%’))) AND (post_status = ‘publish’ OR post_status = ‘private’) OR ( wp_posts.ID = rel.object_id AND rel.term_taxonomy_id = tax.term_taxonomy_id AND tax.term_id = ter.term_id AND tax.taxonomy = ‘post_tag’ AND ter.slug LIKE ‘%bennett%’) ORDER BY post_date DESC LIMIT 0, 8

    WordPress database error: [Lost connection to MySQL server during query]
    SELECT FOUND_ROWS()
