Dear users,

We are aware that our 8.1.7 update has caused problems on certain sites. We have removed this update from the WP Directory and are working on an active fix. Version 8.1.6 is stable and fully functional.

For those that have already downloaded the 8.1.7 update and it has caused issues, the best solution is as follows:

    Option 1

Contact your web hosting company, and have them delete the “search-everything” folder from the “wp-content/plugins/” folder.

Option 2 (for those comfortable managing files):

Log into your site’s files using the File Manager provided by your web hosting company or by using an FTP program (such as Filezilla).
Browse to “wp-content/plugins/” folder for your WordPress site.
    Delete “search-everything” folder.

Again, we apologize for this inconvenience.

    Thank you,

    Sovrn Support

    Dear plugin users,

Search Everything 8.1.8 is now available with security update, support for WordPress 4.7, and fix to the 8.1.7 upgrade issue.

We apologize again for the inconvenience caused by the 8.1.7 upgrade outage.

    Thank you,
    Sovrn support

    Hi Sovrn!

Search Everything 8.1.8 now displays search results from “Private:” pages!

I don’t want to see these sites publicly.

With version 8.1.6 they were not displayed publicly!

    How to exclude these pages?

    LG,
    Nic
