• I have been asked to make the external articles linked to from our company’s news page (the site’s post page, https://hcesllc.com/news) searchable. Each post on the news page has a link to an article on another website, and I want to be able to search the external content of only those articles that are linked to from our news page. I also want to search the articles linked to from the news ticker at the top of the page.

My thought was to somehow retrieve the links in each post and each link in the news ticker and then search the pages targeted by them from Google using “site: <whatever the link is>”. Does that make sense? Is that a good way to do it?

Even if so, I don’t know how to code it in WordPress anyway, so if someone could help me or point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks!
