    I want to create a search field for my dating site, so that it is filtered on I’m looking for a man or woman.. But how do I set this up? my members have to fill this in somewhere, even if they are a man or a woman?

    Hello vandehee,

    First you create a profile field with BuddyPress, then with BP Profile Search you build a search form containing that field.

    Users can fill in their profile fields when they register, or anytime later.
