    Yes, photo and album descriptions are always indexed for search.
    Other search options are configureable in Table IX-E.

    In Table VIII-C3: List Index, you can see what the indexed words are and in what albums and photos they occur.
    Updating the index is done at the background, so it may take a while, and cron processing must be active.
