Search for tags or metadata of the images in ngg 2.0

Hi! The new version of the plug-in is made just fine! But there is one thing that negates all the advantages of the new version – does not work image search on the tags, meta tags or description. Previously, you could use an add-on Alex Rabe, but now it does not work. It is a necessary thing when the gallery more than 2000 pictures. Please add it in future versions of the gallery default. Thank you.
Or maybe there is some way to activate a search?
