Hello, my name is Santiago. I am currently working with WPDirectoryKit and I have a question regarding the search form functionality. Specifically, I am trying to add a search form that includes a field to search for a property by its exact ID. Despite configuring the search form to use the “exactly” option within DirectoryKit, it still displays all the products instead of filtering by the exact ID.

Could anyone provide guidance on how to resolve this issue? I would greatly appreciate any assistance.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Best regards,
    Santiago

    Hi,

To search by system ID, please use search field SMART_SEARCH with search type “none” in options, this field will detect if you enter number and will search by exact ID, example:

In backend please use basic “Filter by keyword” for search by ID, example:

Hi, thank you. Some parts are working, but I have too many properties, and when I use the smart search, it retrieves all results that match the number. For instance, if I search for the number “5,” it shows me property number 5 as well as properties that accommodate 5 people. I believe this is happening because I’m not using the ID field but rather a different number, as it needs to be changeable. How can I persist with the custom field and ensure an exact match in the search? I tried using “exactly,” but it didn’t work.
