search form bug with results page address

  • Hi Yannick,

    I noticed the search form results page address functionality doesn’t work, ie it doesn’t direct the browser to the results page set in the settings.

    I had a look at the code with firebug and I see it does show the results page url in form action, but it shows id of current page in the hidden input value.

    Changing that input value to page id of target page, or removing it altogether made it work as expected.

    Hope you can fix it in the next version. Thanks!

  • I’m also having difficulty with a search results page.

    I created a search results page but when I click the search button and look at the url, it’s a page that doesn’t even exist so I get a 404. I looked at the source and the code appears correct. Any idea where it is calling this non-existant page from?

    Working now..realized there was a page in my trash with that name. Doh! Now I just have to figure out how to customize the formatting of the search box and input button.

    Could you tell me what do I have to change (and where to find it) to fix the Search Results Page problem???

    I’m having similar problems. It always only shows me the page I am currently on. Maybe I configured it wrong, maybe there is a bug – I can’t tell.
